This conference will be organised in association with the Indian, New Zealand and Australian Governments.

UKIERI GSK Symposium
UKIERI and GSK will be co-hosting a symposium on
21 February 2008 in London, which will showcase the outcome of two years of a successful partnership. The event will include lectures by key UKIERI and GSK stakeholders and a poster exhibition by the UKIERI-GSK research trainees.
Partnership Development Workshop
PTS Partnership Development Workshop will be organised in
New Delhi in January 2008. The workshop will enable the approved partnerships from India and the UK to develop detailed project plans and begin implementation of their projects. The workshop will give an opportunity to the UK partners to visit Indian institutions and to share best practices, concerns, risks and overall expected outcome of the project.
ICT Seminar for UKIERI Schools
To support schools in making most use of ICT tools in teaching
and learning through collaborative projects, a capacity building seminar is being organised for nominated ICT coordinators
of schools participating in the UKIERI Cluster School Partnerships 2007-08. The seminar will be run by Baldev Singh of
Imagine Education, UK from 18-23 February 2008 and will
explore new areas of multimedia such as podcasting,
blogging, and using video as a creative and engaging way of delivering lessons.
