WorldSkills London 2011 is the world’s largest international skills competition with young people from across the globe competing to be the best in their chosen skill. This year the 41st WorldSkills Competition is being hosted in London.

British Council, in partnership with WorldSkills London 2011 and WorldSkills International, is offering the opportunity for senior international stakeholders to participate in a high level conference which will have as a central theme the importance of skills and technical education in global economic recovery. The conference will be hosted during WorldSkills London 2011 and delegates will have the opportunity of visiting the Competitions. This is a unique opportunity to observe the world’s best young skilled professionals competing and to participate in a world class conference on the themes of skills development, policy and practice.
